Tic Tac Toe

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today I have a card which I made for a Challenge.  It was a Tic Tac Toe.

I chose Circles, Blue and floral.

This is the inside

I used the Neutrals Designer Series Paper (Blue), Circle Celebration Stamp Set,  Blushing Bride and Misty Moonlight Stamp Pads and the Sentiment on the front is from Daisy Lane and inside I used Fancy Phrases

Stay safe and stay well till next time ................

Reach for the Stars

Hello again.  Thank you for all the comments left on my last blog post - Today I have a card which I made for a Challenge on the Facebook Group Being Crafty Together.  The criteria was:

White, Silver and another colour - and Stars and ribbon.

This is what I made:

I started with a 5" x 5" card base and die cut 3 sizes in Navy, 1 in white and 1 in silver glitter from a quite old Spellbinders Die which is Stars 5.  I placed those in the centre of the card and then cut out 2 Silver and one Navy star from Julie Hickey's Icon Stamp and Die set.  Next I placed the Navy ribbon down the side of the card and embellished with White Pearl Stars.  Finally I layered the Sentiment onto Navy and white Card.  Unfortunately it looks black in the photo but honestly it is Navy and White lol.

Till next time, stay safe and stay well xx

You are capable of amazing things

Hello again - firstly I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who commented on my previous post - it is a great confidence booster to receive them.

Today I have a linen card which measures 6" x 6".  I began by scoring on the front flap 1" from the spine and then stuck the 1" down and folded the rest back so there was a crisp line.  Using  Hydrangea Hill Designer Paper I cut two strips and put one on the 1" strip that I stuck down and the other piece down the right hand side to match.  Next I stamped and coloured the Hydrangea from  Hydrangea Haven with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Rococo Rose, Balmy Blue and Garden Green Ink Pads.

I stamped and embossed the Kingfisher from A Touch of Ink Stamp set and coloured with biodegradable glitter.   Finally I used Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon down the left hand side

Everything except for the Linen card and Glitter are from Stampin' Up.

Here is a close-up of the Kingfisher

I will be back at some point, so until then stay safe and stay well xx

A quick and easy flat card

Hello there - so sorry it's taken me so long to post again.  Went through a phase where I honestly couldn't be bothered to craft.  Anyway I'm back and hopefully I will post more regularly.  I really hope you are all well and coping with Lockdown ok.  I realised yesterday that I've been shielding for ten months and have only been out to get my flu jab.  Roll on the time I can get my Covid 19 jab and look forward to another exciting outing lol.  Anyway onto my card.

I started with a 5" x 5" card.  I coloured the background with watered down Pacific Point Stampin' Pad - I then stamped the plant from Dragonfly Garden with Garden Green and Pacific Point.  Next came the Sun which I stamped with Daffodil Yellow using Circle Celebrations.  Then came the sentiment which was also from Dragonfly Garden.  The last thing I stamped in Pacific Point were the images either side of the sentiment which were also from Circle Celebration.  I didn't intend to stamp them, but I had to cover up a tiny smudge! lol

There you have it! Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back.  Take care till next time xx
